To not worry about whether I am ‘ready’ to step up, shine & serve but to just get on with it. Conversations with others & sessions with clients reveal the same thing. There must be something in the air. Lightworkers tend to feel a sense of urgency, that the world needs them to do their work NOW. The feeling of life mission & passion to get on with it right away is very strong for Lightworkers & Earth Angels. It comes from a deep sense of the collective process, how humanity is reaching a point of crisis & transformation that is a natural phase of |
It’s those old human gremlins of self-doubt, fear etc. A lot of Lightworkers are daunted by their role as they awaken to it, asking: “Who me? Am I good enough?” along with other doubts & fears that hold them back. They feel they aren’t good enough.
These are natural questions & fears. As a Lightworker starts to awaken it is like the shell of a seed case starting to split open so the new shoots of growth can emerge. As the life mission is activated anything in the personality that could get in the way of the fulfilment of that mission must be challenged & dealt with so it can be cleared. It is a cycle of nature, it is part of growth & it is normal.
The fears, doubts & insecurities that come up are sometimes called the ’self-sabotage’ mechanisms. I see these old habitual beliefs & reactions as colours in the human energy field ( I see/sense them intuitively) & they are quite simply old information stored in the body as energy from earlier life experiences. They are out-of-date assumptions, unchallenged perceptions which are past their ‘best before’ date. As we begin to awaken, these old assumptions & old energy gets stirred up in readiness to transform into light or life-affirming energies such as joy, love, hope & creativity. This is when such feelings ‘come up’.
So, the doubts & insecurities that Lightworkers feel are part of the process of becoming an active Lightworker. They are a sign that you are growing, that the old is coming up to be cleared. The secret to successful growth is not to believe these thoughts, just observe them, breathe & let the energy of them flow by, releasing & clearing the old.
NEWS FLASH! You do not have to be perfect, flawless, complete & happy all the time to be a powerful & effective Lightworker. Anyone out there you admire who seems to be perfect, bright & shiny all the time just isn’t being REAL! This is the era of the ‘Human Lightworker’, real, authentic & beautifully flawed. Look at the success of Oprah! Every challenge you face in your life is part of your Light-Work. Sharing it openly with others makes others feel less alone, sharing transparently is part of your service as a Lightworker. Holding other Teachers & Lightworkers on a pedestal of perfection just creates an unachievable goal for you.
Every moment of your life is an opportunity to grow, break open & connect more deeply with others. As a Lightworker you have gifts & life experience that could help others right now! Dare to share. Dare to be real & share how you are really feeling. If you are a teacher, author, guru, housewife, healer, coach or baker you can do your Light-Work best by opening up & sharing your daily truths not hiding behind a plastic veneer of feigned perfection.
This is the era of the authentic, transparent & open-hearted Lightworker, flawed & beautiful. This is how we will connect as human beings, breaking down walls & barriers & meeting each other heart to heart, soul to soul, imperfection to imperfection. This is how we will create peace & co-operation in our world.
